Uge 24, 2025

Få overblikket allerede i indbakken:

Because Instagram would love to become the home of music sharing. TikTok is the leader on this front, with TikTok trends now playing a significant role in music promotion. But with TikTok’s future in the U.S. still in doubt, Instagram’s been slowly ramping up its music content focus, in the hopes of supplanting TikTok in this respect.
📊 Instagram introducerer Stories-inspirerede performance-opsummeringer
Instagram has added two new features to help keep users updated on their in-app performance stats, with a Recap overview of key insights, and new celebrations for major milestones and account events.
🤳 ...og teleprompter i 'Edits'-app'en
As you can see in this example sequence, the new teleprompter option in Edits enables you to upload your script to an in-stream rolling text display, ensuring your text is presented right below the front-facing camera on your device.
After previewing its AI-powered video editing tools late last year, Meta is now making the first of these available in both the Meta AI and Instagram’s Edits app, with a new “Restyle” option enabling users to completely alter the context of their video clips.
🫣 YouTube bringer moderationsregler på linje med Trump
The world’s largest video platform has told content moderators to favor “freedom of expression” over the risk of harm in deciding what to take down.
Instagram’s trial Reels have been available for just on six months now, and IG is keen to get more creators trying out its audience sampling feature, in order to help boost content performance.
According to Instagram chief Adam Mosseri, the Threads team has been working to improve the reach of links in the app, with a view to encouraging more publishers and creators to post to the app.
✉️ Og Threads får snart beskedfunktion
Threads users will soon be able to send direct messages to each other without having to leave the platform. Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg announced on June 10th that Threads will start testing its own DM system this week, starting in Hong Kong, Thailand, and Argentina, with plans to expand to more locations “soon.”
🤔 Trump vil måske give TikTok endnu en forlængelse
And nope, TikTok still isn’t banned, and with just 8 days remaining in the second 75-day hold on enforcement of the bill, President Donald Trump is once again indicating that he’ll approve yet another extension, in order to ensure that TikTok remains available in the U.S.
Brazil's Supreme Court on Wednesday ruled that social media companies must be held accountable for some types of content published by users on their platforms in the country, but details on the decision have yet to be resolved.

📑 Spotify lancerer automatiske undertekster
Transcripts serve multiple important functions on Spotify. They help make your content more accessible to broader audiences and power other features that can support discovery like podcast chapters, guests, and topics. Spotify automatically generates transcripts for select shows to allow you to easily tap into these benefits.
Imagine, for a moment, that your most clandestine internet searches—anxiety-riddled deep dives on WebMD, Google queries wondering if your cat is trying to kill you, or why farts smell the way they do—were the key to finding a soulmate. Would you sign up for a dating site that guaranteed connection in return for your browser history?

🤯 Sociale medier-"creators" vil overgå medier i annonceindtjening
Det lyder ret vildt.
Content on platforms such as YouTube, TikTok and Instagram will attract more advertising income this year than content from traditional media companies, according to research, marking a “huge cultural shift” for the media world.
🤔 Kan bundling fungere i Danmark?

💪 Mindre medier kigger på impact
A shift from measuring the reach or success of a unit of news — pageviews, awards, and the like — to defining success by impact on people served. It’s one perspective in a broader, thorny debate about how to evaluate the success/impact/relevance of nonprofit news.
CNN’s bumpy and oh-so-slow progress in inventing a paid version of itself provokes a question: Is there a long game at work here?
🔮 The Washington Post vil mere digitalt og AI
But hard truths were delivered to staffers. Among them, a full embrace of digital publishing and a shift away from the traditional print product. An emphasis would also be placed on video, and journalists were told they should all be embracing AI within their roles.
💪 Sådan går The Guardian til AI-licensaftaler
The Guardian is amongst the news media companies taking an assertive approach to protecting and commercialising content in a digital landscape increasingly being shaped by artificial intelligence.
💡 Journalister bør bygge deres eget publikum tidligere i karrieren
Not everyone is going to launch a successful career as an independent media creator, but journalists should be thinking more about building a home base where they can have more ownership over their audience.

Meta's stand-alone AI app launched in late April, and like many people, my first thought was, "Huh?" After trying it out a little, my next thought was, "Oh no." A few weeks later, after the initial surge of curious new users, my thought is now: "Dear God."
