Få overblikket allerede i indbakken:
“While Facebook is no longer the cool app, especially among younger audiences, it remains a key platform for many users, and its capacity to keep people updated on important updates from friends and family is likely to ensure that many continue to return to the app every day for some time yet.”
😲 Twitter lukker for gratis API-adgang
Fra Buffer (som er en af de tjenester, man kan bruge til at planlægge tweets) er meldingen, at “we’re still learning more about these changes, and any impact they could have on Buffer”.
“Since launching on Tiktok in 2019, Ladbible Group has grown to become the biggest news publisher on the platform, with almost 46 million followers across the group’s accounts.”

And while one could argue that this percentage split still isn’t as good as the revenue share deals on Facebook (55% creators/45% Facebook for in-stream ads) and TikTok (50/50 split), YouTube is making it far easier for more creators to make money by lowering the eligibility threshold to earn from its Partner Program.
✉️ LinkedIn gør det lettere at vise nyhedsbreve frem
“First off, LinkedIn’s rolling out one-click subscribe URLs and embeddable buttons, to make it easier to guide people to your Newsletter and subscription page.”
👎 Twitter dropper “co-tweets”
“Launched in live testing in July last year, Co-Tweets enabled you to collaborate on a single tweet with another user, providing new opportunities for cross-promotional partnerships.”
💸 …og går videre med betalinger
“Twitter has begun applying for regulatory licences across the US and designing the software required to introduce payments across the social media platform, as Elon Musk searches for new revenues to turn round the business. “
👍 …og tester flere reaktioner i direkte beskeder
“Twitter’s looking to give users a broader set of emoji reactions for their DMs, while also, potentially, enabling personalization of your quick reactions display in the app.”
📲 Instagram-stiftere er tilbage med ny news feed-app
“The Instagram co-founders, who departed Facebook in 2018 amid tensions with their parent company, have formed a new venture to explore ideas for next-generation social apps. Their first product is Artifact, a personalized news feed that uses machine learning to understand your interests and will soon let you discuss those articles with friends. “
“In early December we notified subscribers who use our digital platforms that we would soon be requiring everyone who posts comments to use their real names. […]
We’ve already seen a substantial drop in “toxic” comments, ie, those that are removed because they breach our rules. In the month before the announcement we had an average of 1,348 daily comments flagged by our systems as toxic. In the past month the average was 815, a 40 per cent decrease.”
☝️ Google Analytics 4: Sørg for, at dine links er tagget rigtigt
“Make sure your campaign traffic is properly tracked and categorized in Google Analytics 4 with these URL tagging tips for marketers. […]
Old online marketing links with UTM parameters are no longer being categorized the same way. But why?”
✨ DMJX lancerer ny studieretning: Coded design
“But things change. And the macroenvironment has changed significantly in the last year. In hindsight, I probably got a little carried away and overinvested relative to the uncertainty we saw shaping up in the market. So we are shifting to focus on tightening our spend and becoming more efficient. This remains consistent with the plan we outlined at Investor Day, but you should expect us to execute on it with even greater intensity given what I just said.”
Fra World Association of Newspapers:
“‘You can have the most sophisticated funnel, the best retention tools on the planet, spend a fortune on your tech stack, but if your content is bad, if you’ve gutted your newsroom, if you’re publishing two or three local stories a day, I say save your money on all your retention efforts because you’re still going to fail,’ says Alan Fisco, President of The Seattle Times.”
“While open marketplace programmatic allows for advertisers to purchase display ads on a publishers’ site with little clarity on what content their ads will appear next to, programmatic direct deals that happen in a private marketplace or through a seller (programmatic guaranteed) has more guarantees around things like content adjacencies, impressions and engagements.”

💳 OpenAI introducerer abonnementsmodel for ChatGPT
“ChatGPT, the AI content tool that’s taken the world by storm in recent months, is switching to a freemium model, with a new paid tier, priced at $20 per month, which will give users better access to the tool.”

😕 OpenAI frigiver ineffektivt værktøj til at detektere AI-tekster
“The startup behind the viral chatbot ChatGPT unveiled a tool for detecting text generated by artificial intelligence amid growing concerns the technology will be abused by cheaters, spammers and others.
But OpenAI said its so-called AI classifier itself fails to detect bot-written text nearly three quarters of the time. “

Fra London School of Economics:
“But many smaller newsrooms tell me that they simply don’t have the time, people or money to even consider AI. In this article, I set out how even the smallest news organisation can find out about AI and the opportunities it offers. We already work with many small newsrooms around the world and they have shown that size doesn’t have to matter.”
