A new Friends Tab will feature posts from a user’s friends and relatives, which was the original mission of the app.

Here’s a small tweak that could have a big impact on IG. According to an updated overview of “re-posts”, content that you re-share in the app may now appear within the feeds of your followers in the app.

📈 Nogle medier oplever stigning i trafik fra Threads
Newsweek’s referral traffic from Threads has surged 20-fold since January. Before then it had been just a few thousand daily page views, he said. Threads now drives more traffic for the publisher than X, despite it having a fraction of the follower count on the former — Newsweek has 3.5 million followers on X compared to 160,000 followers on Threads, which Meta launched in July 2023.

Public support for a TikTok ban now stands at 34% among U.S. adults, according to a new Pew Research Center survey. That’s down from 50% in March 2023.

📈 TV 2 Play er stadig en god forretning
Med streamingtjenesten TV 2 Play som den klare drivkraft kom TV 2 tilbage på vækstsporet i 2024, og løftede både omsætning og driftsresultat, viser mediehusets årsrapport.

Måske har du hørt, at Google har testet at skjule mediers indhold i søgeresultaterne for 1% af deres brugere i udvalgte europæiske lande. Nu er resultaterne klar, og det er ikke fed læsning for mediebranchen.
