Gør som de andre. Få overblikket allerede i indbakken:

🧪 Instagram lancerer splittest i Reels
“First off, Meta’s adding a new A/B testing option for Reels creators, so you can experiment with the best approaches to your content.
As you can see in this example, Reels creators will be able to text four different versions of each Reel, with alternative captions and/or thumbnail images.”

🏢 TikTok åbner kontor i Danmark
“In plain terms, allowlisting is one part influencer marketing and one part sponsored post. Using either a social media platform itself, like TikTok or Instagram, or a third-party service, an influencer gives permission to advertisers to run their social ad campaigns through the influencer’s account. Although, the advertisers cannot see an influencer’s direct messages.”
““We’re working on it. My concern is that it’ll mean a lot more publisher content and not much more creator content, but it still seems like something we need to get done,” Mosseri said in a post.”

😠 DPCMO klager over LinkedIn
“First off, LinkedIn has announced some new AI features, building on its growing suite of AI-powered options. Its latest tools, which will be made available to LinkedIn Premium subscribers only, are designed to help users make sense of their feed, job posts, etc.
Which seems concerning, but we’ll get to that.”
📉 X falder i værdi

“Spotify’s biggest fan moment of the year, Wrapped, is almost here. And soon, millions of listeners will be sharing their favorite podcasts of 2023 — including yours. So we’ve compiled some tips to help get your show looking its best for your next wave of listeners.”
“Obviously, anything which sits at the top of search results is going to impact on the amount of traffic which clicks through to publisher sites underneath. And this is potentially worse than anything we have seen before: if the answer to the query is given on Google’s page, why would anyone bother to scroll down and click through?”
📉 …og hvad med aggregatorer?
“Traffic sent from news aggregators to publishers’ sites is stalling, according to four publishing execs and data from analytics firm Chartbeat.”
😡 The Guardian beskylder Microsoft at at skade omdømmet med AI-afstemning
“Publisher says poll speculating on cause of woman’s death that appeared next to Guardian article caused ‘significant reputational damage’”
💡 CMO’ens praktiske guide til personalisering
“This article is a practical guide that explores the evolution of personalization and the complexities it presents. It also offers strategic insights for CMOs to create genuine human connections with their customers in an increasingly data-driven world.”
“Ultimately, the data suggest that U.S. consumers have not reached a subscription saturation point – or “peak subscription” – as some have suggested, but remain prepared to add new subscriptions to their portfolios. Individual publishers may see contractions in their subscriber bases even as subscribers maintain more subscriptions, however, as competition continues to grow.”
💸 Sådan bliver NYTimes’ annonceforretning styret igennem forandringer
“In the latest episode of the Digiday Podcast, [global chief advertising officer] Robins chats about how she’s leading her team to incorporate new attention metrics and how reopening the open programmatic revenue valve can only stand to benefit the Times’ business.”
⏩ Netflix’ annonceforretning går ind i sit andet år
“Nov. 3 marks the one-year anniversary of Netflix launching its advertising business in the U.S. And what a year it’s been. From the company almost singlehandedly revitalizing Microsoft’s position in the programmatic market to the streamer struggling to deliver sufficient reach for advertisers to it hitting 5 million ad-supported viewers to, most recently, replacing its ads chief.”
👊 YouTube intensiverer kampen mod adblockere
“YouTube is broadening its efforts to crack down on ad blockers. The platform has “launched a global effort” to encourage users to allow ads or try YouTube Premium, YouTube communications manager Christopher Lawton says in a statement provided to The Verge.“

🤨 Chatbots bruger meget medieindhold
“The News Media Alliance, a trade group that represents newspapers, says that A.I. chatbots use news articles significantly more than generic content online.”
“The features Cook called out aren’t necessarily thought of as AI by consumers, and that may be by design. Cook suggested that Apple doesn’t label the features as ‘AI’ necessarily.
‘We label them as to what their consumer benefit is,’ Cook said. “But the fundamental technology behind it is AI and machine learning.'”

“DataGPT, a California-based startup working to simplify how enterprises consume insights from their data, came out of stealth today with the launch of its new AI Analyst, a conversational chatbot that helps teams understand the what and why of their datasets by communicating in natural language.”
