Influencere…
Halvdelen af influencere bruger falske følgere
Politiken:
Facebook lancerer dating i USA
Wired:
“Facebook Dating lives within the existing Facebook app, but to use it you need to set up a separate profile. The only information carried over is your name and age. The service will present you with potential matches based on your location, indicated preferences, and other factors. You can also choose to match with people who attend the same Facebook events or are part of the same Facebook groups. One thing it won’t show you are your existing Facebook friends—that option is turned off by default. […]
Instagram will also become part of Secret Crush, an existing Facebook Dating feature that lets users select up to nine Facebook friends they want to express an interest in—as long as that person indicates they have a crush back.”
TechCrunch:
“Officially, Facebook says that match suggestions are based on ‘your preferences, interests, and other things you do on Facebook.’
Asked how exactly Facebook will rank its profile suggestions, Nathan Sharp, the Product Lead for Facebook Dating, said he can’t discuss the details of the system.”
Facebook overvejer at fjerne Like-antal
TechCrunch:
“The idea is to prevent users from destructively comparing themselves to others and possibly feeling inadequate if their posts don’t get as many Likes. It could also stop users from deleting posts they think aren’t getting enough Likes or not sharing in the first place.”
How would it impact publishers if Facebook ditches the Like count?

Facebook introducerer ansigtsgenkendelse i Danmark

Engadget:

Moving forward, whenever Facebook users search for vaccine-related content, including through groups and hashtags, the social network will display a card that prompts those individuals to instead obtain information from a credible source.”

“For LA Times, webpages were taking as long as 12 seconds to load previously, but could fluctuate depending on sizeable ads – such as takeover ads – and the time of day.
This has since been cut down by 30 per cent, according to De Groot. Now under new local ownership since last year, the publisher is doing away with old ways of thinking around overcrowding platforms with ads.”
Hvad er “device fingerprinting”
Digiday:
“It’s an imperfect method of identification. Unlike the cookie, which is effectively a tracking monitor placed on an individual device, device fingerprinting relies on the probability that a device recognized as having certain attributes on one day is the same device seen with those same attributes on another day.”
Få lytterne tæt på med live-podcasting

Annoncører: Google bruger tal ude af kontekst
Digiday:
“In general, publishers have agreed that those figures are pretty much in line with the average revenue losses they had seen as a result of Apple’s initial anti-tracking changes. However, several major publishers have also stressed that the figures have been taken out of context and used as a weapon to further Google’s own cause.”

Easy!”
